Being born in Phoenix, Arizona and raised around the desert scenery, I've always resonated with the southwest. It wasn’t until my first painting class in my last semester of high school that I discovered my interest and excitement for art. Through self taught oil painting and photography, I found I was able to express and reveal my comforts and my personality even more through my work.

I find myself often unintentionally capturing the colors of the desert that I am so familiar with no matter the subject. I also find that my introverted personality leads me to capture seemingly mundane objects and orchestrate still lifes to create levels of interest that were not previously visible.
